  • Your medical school transcript/score report. IMG’s need to have their transcript verified through the ECFMG.
  • USMLE scores report or COMLEX scores report.
3 We accept J-1 sponsorships.
4 Our interview sessions take place in November and January. Interviews are granted based on a review of the total application package. (We interview only about 350 applicants from a pool of over 5,500.)
5 We look for USMLE/COMLEX scores of 225 and above (first attempt) for categorical positions and USMLE scores of 215 and above for preliminary positions. (Preliminary positions are strictly limited to candidates concurrently applying for advanced positions.)
6 We prefer candidates who have graduated medical school within the last 4-5 years. U.S. clinical experience with primary patient care responsibility is advantageous.
7 For international medical graduates, ECFMG certification is not required prior to interview but both Step 1 and Step 2CK are required. The USMLE Step 2 CS result is required by end of January. All requirements for ECFMG certification must be available by mid-March.
8 For other required materials, international medical graduates can contact the ECFMG via their website: www.ecfmg.org/eras/index.html.
