My residency at Queens Hospital Center has been an invaluable experience. Coming in after previous training, I was concerned about fitting in, but the welcoming environment made the transition seamless. The diversity of the patient population here is unparalleled, exposing me to a wide range of medical conditions, including rare diseases that are seldom seen elsewhere. This experience has not only sharpened my clinical skills but also deepened my understanding of patient care in a multicultural context. Despite the challenges, the support from faculty and peers made me feel right at home. Queens Hospital Center has provided me with a unique and enriching training experience, equipping me with the confidence and skills to excel in gastroenterology and hepatology.
