Lydia Fuentes, MD

Dr. Lydia Liz Fuentes Rivera obtained her medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Universidad Central del Caribe, affiliated with Hospital Universitario Ramón Ruiz Arnau in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She pursued a Nephrology fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, USA, where she also served as Chief Fellow and was honored with the Fellow of the Year award. She has board certifications in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, such as the American College of Physicians, the National Kidney Foundation, and the American Society of Nephrology.
