Dr. Martin graduated first in his class from the NYU School of Medicine and completed his residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine at Bellevue Hospital under Dr. Saul Farber. He went on to Gastroenterology fellowships at Bellevue and at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital of Harvard Medical School. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Martin has received countless awards for teaching and for incorporating humanism into medicine. His specialty is the development of exceptional residency training programs.
