Being located in the City of NY and close to the JFK International Airport, Queens Hospital Center provides medical care to a very diverse population from all over the world. Here, we have a great balance of autonomy for residents in making clinical decisions and direct supervision provided by trained hospital attendings. Along with excellent clinical training, there is lots of research, teaching and administrative opportunities to help in the residents’ overall development, whether he/she plans on becoming an excellent clinical fellow or a first-rate internist. The staff here is extremely friendly and it feels like a second home away from home. I am extremely privileged to have the pleasure of being part of such an institution.
