Queens Hospital Center has felt like a second home to me ever since my days as a student here. The commitment to patient care is at the core of this institution, where residents, attendings, nurses, and all personnel collaborate seamlessly to deliver the best outcomes. At Queens Hospital Center, we benefit from a diverse patient population and a wide range of pathologies, given that we serve as one of the primary hospitals for a large community. Many of the conditions we encounter here are ones we might only read about in textbooks, but we experience them firsthand at this facility. Moreover, resident education is a cornerstone of the program. While we are deeply involved in patient care, the program ensures that we have dedicated time for case discussions, teaching rounds with attendings, and board review sessions. If I had the chance to choose where to do my residency all over again, this program would still be my top choice.
