The Queens Hospital Center Internal Medicine Program should be at the top of your rank order list as you prepare to secure a residency position. Although a community hospital, its location near two major airports allows you to encounter a diversity of pathology one would think to encounter only at huge academic centers. With amazing ancillary staff and very approachable and encouraging faculty, this hospital harbors the perfect atmosphere that will facilitate your growth to become a phenomenal hospitalist or to embark into a subspecialty fellowship. I am very happy with my choice to train here, and thankful for the opportunity that QHC has given to me to further advance my career.
