Queens Hospital Center is ideally located between two of the busiest airports in the country, offering a unique opportunity to have access to the widest possible diversity in patient population and the kind of clinical exposure needed to become an excellent all-around internist. This is a program where the residents can act autonomously, but also where the residents are mentored and guided by experienced professionals. At QHC, residents enjoy the right balance between work and personal life, thereby outside of work we have the opportunity to enjoy the idea of lazy weekends and/or do things of interest. As for me, I was a nervous intern who started residency a little less than a year ago; this program made me confident and I am now eager to become a resident soon.
