My experience in the Queens hospital Center Internal Medicine program has been inspiring. The experience you gain dealing with such a diverse socioeconomic population and medically complex patients is second to none. The rotations prepare you very well for both inpatient and outpatient medicine as the schedule is very well balanced. Being here has given me such a unique experience and perspective that would be difficult to find anywhere else. The autonomy given allows the residents to grow and develop a broad clinical acumen that is valuable in any setting. My favorite part of being here is the friendly and welcoming environment in which we all share the same goal of making our patients stay and care better.
